Caries Indicators Red & Green
Contains D&C (drug and cosmetic) dyes in a glycol base that stains carious dentin red and dark green to black.
Applications:
- Identify caries in difficult to see locations such as under overhanging enamel of a Class I, II or III preparation.
- Caries Red is used as a fast, easy way to locate the root canal.
- Caries Green is used as a way to indicate non-mineral dentin for removal.
